Testimonials

Our daughter was born 3 months premature. After she was born it seemed like everything was just a blur from work to visiting to making it home to try and sleep and then clean. When we had free moments we were struggling trying to figure out what we truly needed for when our daughter came home.

We met Ryan about a month into our stay at the NICU. Both Lincoln and I were shocked to hear the story of his daughter and son and to find out what he made of the situation amazed us both. Ryan had helped with so many things from gas cards and parking pass to our pack n' play and crib bedding set. With the help of Ryan we were able to visit our daughter and just relax. The help and encouragement given to us was most appreciated. Ryan even stays in touch with us to see how Levi is doing and to share stories of his children as well.

Levi Olivia Lovell is now 5 months old and is doing better everyday. She sleeps in her crib and now enjoys cat napping in her pack n' play!

Sincerely,
Kellsey, Lincoln, and Levi Olivia

At first I felt like no one understood how we felt, but yet alot of families were in the NICU experiencing similar trials such as ours. I remember the 1 nurse at the NICU giving me a pamphlet on Grady's Decision. I went home that night and looked up the website. Tears began to pour! Finally a family that was brave enough to share their story. A story of a not so happy ending but then also at the same time, a happy ending. The very next day, I called Ryan and got the chance to talk to him for quite awhile. He truly inspired me and I felt for the first time, we are not alone! Ryan and Katrina are truly inspirational and motivating! Grady's Decision was definitely there calling from God and there touching the lives of so many families. They have picked us up at one of our biggest challenges in life and have gotten us through with the help of a gas card so we could afford to see our son daily without the worry of whether or not, we'd had enough gas to get up to Erie.

Cody is now 5 months old. He still wears a monitor at night but is now breathing on his own and getting stronger each day. He is a fighter, he's our angel.

Grady's Decision has a big purpose in life and that's to touch the lives of others. Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Richard, Dottie, Megan and Cody Swavey

Our twins were born three months early, weighing only 2# 13 oz and 3# 1 oz. We never imagined our babies would ever be that small.

When our boys were about two weeks old they developed infections. We were
told that Dylan would have to be transfered to Pittsburgh for treatment and a PDA ligation. We didn't know what we would do... that meant that we would have to leave Wyatt in Hamot alone. It was at that time that we met Ryan. It was wonderful to hear that we were not alone in our situation. Ryan helped us with so much including a gas card, our parking pass, and our stay at the Ronald McDolnald house. It was wonderful to be able to visit our boys daily without worrying about those expenses.

Wyatt and Dylan are now very healthy six month olds. Thank you so much for all of your help!

Nick, Shilo, Wyatt and Dylan Portice
